Lassi with Lavina Photo of the Day – Hail Hinglish

Spellcheck needed – or you won’t get a coat, pant or shirt, says Lassi with Lavina during this jaunt in a Delhi market. You may end up with a cot, paint and something called a sirt! Well, it is logical to spell coat as cot and pant as paint, shirt as sirt – all depending on how you pronounce these words!  This is the frenzied make-do English of the bazaar and even if not correct, it does get you your coat, shirt and pant at a good, no-nonsense price!
