Marilyn Monroe, the legend, is the inspiration behind this blog post 'Sex and the Single Desi' on Lassi with Lavina
Marilyn Monroe - Patterns by Wolfgang Wildner

I don’t mind living in a man’s world, as long as I can be a woman in it…
    -Marilyn Monroe

Talking with your man for hours may seem like heavenly bliss for you.  However, your guy would rather take a long walk, wash his car, run errands, do his taxes, WORK a long tiresome job than sit down and have a heart to heart with you.  Fortunately for you, there is a science behind his behavior.  When a guy gets into an emotional conversation, it hyper-arouses him and triggers a flood of the stress hormone cortisol throughout the body.  So even if you are being flirty and talking about how much you enjoy his comfort, he may begin to feel uncomfortably super-stimulated.

In order to sync up to his emotional level, you may want to combine, touching, togetherness and little gestures of appreciation to let him know that you are committed and in this relationship for the long haul.  Nothing spells “I love you” like little surprises throughout the day.

Men love Sports. Anything sports related can really be a turn on.  Order food from his favorite sports bar and watch the big game together.  During the Super Bowl order appetizers, call his friends and watch the game on your 50 inch plasma TV.  He’ll love it and he will love the fact that you are bonding with his favorite activity.

Men are food lovers. Ever hear the expression, a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach?  Well it’s true.  Men love food.  If you provide that comfort then they will love you too hopefully  I know you have a busy schedule.  I know he has a busy schedule. However, making time once a week to cook his favorite meal can score major brownie points for you.

Buy flowers, cook his favorite meal, spend some quality time talking and sharing the highs and lows of your day.  Don’t get too stressed by recounting the difficulties of the day.  You have each other and take comfort in the fact that you can rest in his strong arms at the end of the day.  Afterwards, head upstairs and get your romance on.

Men are Beer lovers: Stock his fridge with his favorite beer.  Believe me, he will thank you.  At the end of every long tiresome day, a guy needs a good ice cold beer.  Alcohol helps relax your man and puts him in the mood you’ll need for later.

Men are lottery winners: Buy a lottery ticket and slip it in his pocket or work bag.  It is a clever way to remind him that he will be getting lucky later; with you of course.

Men love dessert: Skip the whipped cream and body soufflé routine.  Indulge in some sweet desserts after you have done the deed.  Try rocky road ice cream with hot fudge sauce.  A sure way to get you connected and talking intimately.

Men love concerts: Buy tickets to see his favorite show.  Men love music and listening to their favorite band while chowing down wings and drinking their favorite alcoholic beverage.  It is also a nice outing for the two of you.   Check your updates to see if Maroon 5 or Linkin Park are coming to town.

Men love massages.  After a long, stressful day, what better way to unwind than a massage.  Getting a massage from his lady love can mean so much more and can bond you too significantly.  Enjoy your time together.

Men love your perfume: I was on a date once where I couldn’t get enough of the guy’s scent.  A scent of a person can keep someone close or send them packing.  Women end up in couple’s therapy because they don’t like the way their man smells and vice versa.  Write a sexy little note, spray it with your favorite perfume and slip it in his work bag.  He will appreciate it and YOU.

Men love to be in-sync: As your guy drifts off into a state of sleep.  Massage his temples in rhythm with his inhale and exhale.  When your bodies are in sync, he’ll feel totally at ease and connected.
    xoxo
