Asia Comes to New York for a Week – and You’re Invited.

[dropcap]Y[/dropcap]ou can go to Asia – no airline ticket needed! The fact is Asia is coming to YOU in New York, so you should take advantage of this event. In this version of Asia – China, Japan, India, Nepal, Korea are all together, sometimes in the same room. The event of course is the much anticipated Asia Week which is a yearly feature in New York.

Events will be held across New York by 22 leading international Asian art specialists, six auction houses, and 11 museums and cultural institutions. You can go gallery hopping, listen to talks by experts and visit auction houses and so many different museums with new shows from Asia. This is on from March 16–24.

I was part of the intrepid bunch of writers and reporters who went on the preview Asia Week Gallery New York Walk to 17 galleries – uptown and downtown, upstairs and downstairs – wherever the art was being shown!

We all probably each walked over 20,000 steps that day but saw some amazing art!  Art is good for your heart so enjoy! It’s open house weekend everywhere
