An Indian-American treat, You Can Make It with this easy recipe, thanks to PB!

Ras Malai Cake Jars – Indian or American or both?

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]ith the Diwali season approaching you do want to give the family something traditional – and something new! How about Ras Malai Cake Jars which give them the best of both worlds and are quite easy to prepare. And guess who’s doing the teaching – PB! Yes, that stands for Patel Brothers, the amazing genie-like store which always saves us when it comes to ingredients that we must have to make our Indian goodies. This quickie recipe improvises with a store-bought cake mix making it a truly Indian-American dessert which most immigrant families will relate to!  After all, who hasn’t baked a cake from a cake mix in an American home?

What I’ve discovered is that Patel Brothers also has a Youtube channel with some amazing cooking videos which are easy to emulate and will thrill the desis and the Indophiles alike! So click and cook away!

(Note: This is NOT a sponsored story or advertorial – I just have been using the store forever, am tickled by their immigrant story and enjoy their drive and their products.)
