A Thanksgiving Tradition with President Obama

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Sharing an old tradition which we’ve loved watching every year, especially the vegetarians amongst us! For the last eight years we have seen President Barack Obama do this symbolic act of pardoning the turkey, though of course lots of turkeys are going to be eaten today! However, there is freedom and respite for these two lucky turkeys, Tater and Tot.

Always love the smiles this ceremony invokes and the kindness to these two turkeys who will spend their lives in peace. Also love Obama’s bad puns and corny turkey jokes. We won’t have this treat next Thanksgiving…
